Come and join our Stores department at Covance in Eye, Suffolk!
Job Requirements:
- Actively support the company's Health & Safety programme in all day to day operational practices.
- Ensure that standing financial instructions and other policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Responsibility for entering data to update DAX Purchasing and or any other Inventory System on a daily basis.
- Receipt of deliveries to site from Clients, suppliers, re-stocking of inventory
- Issuing of stock/inventory and other deliveries to end users as required.
- Use of mechanical handling equipment as required (e.g. Pallet truck & Forklift - Licence permitting or training to be provided)
- Help maintain the stores area to prevent any trip hazards and other health & safety issues.
- Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders including; Purchasing, internal customers, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
- Liaise with departments concerning storage,deliveries and receipt of samples etc.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
- Forklift Licenece an advantage
- Previous experience working in a warehousing environment
