HEAD OF MEDICAL AFFAIRS FOR EUROPE

This newly created strategic position offers a fantastic opportunity for a medical doctor who has significant experience in regional or global medical affairs and who has worked with and has a strong interest in rare disease, gene therapy or haematology therapy areas.

The role with involve building a European Medical Affairs team, previous experience in recruiting and developing a team is essential.

You would need to demonstrate the ability to create and implement a global medical affairs strategy, the skills to establish a medical affairs compliance network and review promotional materials.

Strong communication skills to build internal and external networks with stakeholders, lead and manage KOL interactions including advisory board management and train both medical affairs and non-medical staff.

The individual will need to keep up to date scientific developments and learn new therapy areas as the company expands its’ portfolio.  The ability to be self- driven and provide strong leadership, negotiating and influencing skills are essential.
