Job Details

Hobson Prior are looking for a Document Management System Associate to join a global biopharmaceutical company based in the UK. A very patient-focused company, whose scientific research has resulted in 15 marketed products that are benefitting hundreds of thousands of people, a pipeline of late-stage drug candidates and unmatched patient access programs to ensure medications are available to those who could otherwise not afford them.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to support the Global Document Management and Training Administration programs.
  • Administrates the electronic Document Management System and Learning Management System including managing user accounts, assigning access rights and initiating workflows.
  • Administrates Procedural Documents and Quality records through the eDMS, including the change management, electronic review/approval, periodic review and obsoletion workflows.
  • Enters data into the eDMS and LMS.
  • Performs quality control of entered data and follows appropriate procedures to ensure the quality of information contained in the eDMS and LMS with global quality standards.
  • You will represent as the functional liaison with local Procedural Document and training coordinators at International affiliate locations.
  • Ensures consistent application of systems and process to ensure the quality of their work, and the high standards expected in Compliance.
  • Addresses and resolves customer questions promptly, maintains close cooperation and communication with international affiliate personnel.
  • May deliver system/process training to general users.
  • Provides ongoing user support on systems and department processes.

Key Skills:

  • You will have great attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet high quality standards.
  • Able to operate both as an individual contributor and as a dependable, collaborative team member.
  • Must be customer oriented but understand the compliance-driven nature of the role.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced skills preferred).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience with a BS or BA degree (or 3+ years with a Master's degree) in a relevant field, such as a Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Operations or similar GxP/Regulated environments.
  • Previous experience with eDMS eg Veeva Vault, MasterControl, Documentum is highly desirable.
  • Experience managing content in an eDMS or LMS.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as effective interpersonal skills, is able to work efficiently with customers and colleagues across geographical locations.
