Job Details

Hobson Prior are looking for a Process Technician to join a global pharmaceutical who specialise in medical devices for eye care and lenses. As the Process Technician you will understand and contribute to achieving the goals of the organisation, by efficiently carrying out any assigned operation or task.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining equipment uptime at 98% through proactive maintenance and quality of workmanship.
  • Continuous focus on process /equipment optimisation.
  • Follow through on maintenance in timely manner and to quality standard.
  • Follow through and deliver on assigned engineering improvement projects.
  • Comply to the companies Safety and Quality standards at all times.

Key Skills:

  • Numerical ability.
  • Literacy.
  • Dexterity.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Accuracy/meticulous eye to detail.

Requirements:

  • A professional engineering qualification will be required for this role to at least City & Guilds level, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical discipline with corresponding practical experience.
  • Ability to clearly understand engineering drawings, symbols and notation.
  • Previous experience of Automated Processes.
  • Previous experience of pneumatic systems would be admirable.
