Health Economics & Market Access Lead

We have been assigned by our clients to search and select Health Economics and Market Access professionals for a Health Economics & Market Access Lead role at one of the world’s leading biotech’s.

The role

  • Lead health economics activities that include assessing landscape analyses, trends, HTA scanning reviews, and the development and execution of required strategies to optimize success with payers
  • Lead the planning and execution of health economic models and studies to support a smart understanding of health economics for our pipeline and launch products
  • Support countries for local submissions
  • Ensure that payer evidence plan is developed and/or validated at each investment decision with key internal and external stakeholders, meets the needs of key markets and respective payer archetypes, and is aligned with clinical, medical and brand strategies
  • Ensure the gathering of competitor evidence and economic drivers that inform global value and health economic strategy
  • Work collaboratively with local teams to identify evidentiary requirements and potential barriers to access
  • Lead the development of health economic strategies in close collaboration with clinical, medical, global product strategy, publications, and affiliate colleagues

Experience

  • A professional preferably with an MBA or other advanced graduate degrees.
  • At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in health economics research including market access, value-based healthcare decision making, or other related fields for biopharmaceuticals.
  • A strong technical background in evidence-based medicine, health economics, reimbursement or health policy.
  • Excellent project management skills in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work from strategy development to execution and value creation in a dynamic organization.
  • A strategic mind-set will be indispensable in this role as will the ability to manage external vendors, and internal collaborators, while achieving your objectives.
