Clinical Trial Start Up Associate - graduate level!

Covance is offering this wonderful "foot in the door" opportunity for a budding clinical research professional. 

This is a full time office based role in Maidenhead, working in a dynamic clinical trials operations department of a leading CRO.

We would welcome a graduate who has some modicum of clinical trials experience. Perhaps you gained some experience on your sandwich course during you studies?

The role is outlined below.

1. Collect, track and perform a quality review of all essential & investigator documents required for effective and compliant study site activation and maintenance

2. Ensure that all assigned maintenance and Start-up activities are on track and in accordance with client expectations, ICH/GCP, SOPs, budget, quality and applicable laws and guidelines

3. Serve as primary contact for investigative sites and ensure documents required are collected in a timely manner.

4. With guidance from line manager and experienced colleagues, adapt Informed Consent Forms and other patient facing material to country specific requirements.

5. May support / assist the contract negotiation process under supervision of an experienced colleague or line manager.

6. Escalate study issues appropriately and in a timely fashion.

7. Update study documents when there are changes in study personnel/study amendments.

8. Contribute to the preparation of submissions to IRB/IEC with appropriate supervision.

9. Ensure high quality documents are filed and systems are updated on an ongoing and timely basis making Covance ready for an audit at any time.

10. Undertake tasks delegated by senior team members, depending upon country and situational requirements with proper supervision.
