Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Global Project Manager (Biomarker Translational Technology) to join a Swiss global healthcare organisation who are focused on offering medical solutions in order to transform patients' lives. You will join them on a contract basis, based in Basel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining, tracking, and managing a high-quality, integrated plan to execute specific elements of cross-program biomarker strategies.
  • Obtaining cross-functional and senior management input into the design, scope and desired outcomes of each strategic element.
  • Using project knowledge to plan short-, mid-, long-term project plans and identifying interdependencies.
  • Closely and transparently managing the critical path of the biomarker strategy and its scope.
  • Recognising, managing & communicating key project risks and leading risk management strategies to the BEML.
  • Leveraging well developed interpersonal skills to build & maintain positive working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Using strong project and organizational knowledge, leadership and active facilitation to enable effective Biomarker Subteam meetings.
  • Managing stakeholder and customer relationships and expectations.
  • Managing, maintaining and continuously improving project management framework, methodology and tools.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Capability to work in a global team setting.
  • Overall knowledge of the Drug Development process.

Requirements:

  • BS/MS or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical Drug.
  • Development. Project Management and Change Management certifications desired.
  • Certification or expertise in methodologies such as: LEAN / Six Sigma desired.
  • Prior experience in Biomarker or clinical development, particularly in the execution of fluid or genetic biomarker assays, including roles such as Biomarker Operations.
  • Leader or Manager, Procurement Specialist, or similar, is admirable.
