Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an extremely motivated, experienced individual for the role of Tax Manager at our Corporate Headquarters located in Blue Bell, PA. This role will lead and manage domestic and foreign tax planning, reporting and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with domestic (federal and state) and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Build and enhance internal relationships with Accounting and Finance personnel to provide innovative tax planning and consulting expertise.
  • Lead the U.S. domestic (federal and state) tax compliance process.
  • Collaborate with external firms to oversee tax filing requirements in Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
  • Understand new tax regulations and research issues, preparing memos to document conclusions on applicability to UBC.
  • Manage and coordinate tax audits with external audit firm, including preparation of required deliverables and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare global income tax provision and draft year-end income tax footnote disclosures for inclusion in the consolidated financial statements.
  • Implement new tax policies to mitigate risk and strengthen existing processes and procedures.
  • Manage and coordinate miscellaneous tax filings, including annual reports, sales and use tax and property tax.
  • Communicate with regulatory authorities and respond to tax notices on behalf of the Company.
  • Lead other miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.

  • Proven work experience as a tax manager, with strong knowledge of tax accounting, compliance and filing returns
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation, advanced degree preferred (not required)
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of prior tax experience (Big 4 preferred, not required)
  • Accuracy, analytical skills and attention to detail are required
  • Strong multi-tasking skills; must manage responsibilities under strict deadlines
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
