Senior Sourcing Manager

We have had an exciting position released working for a global top 10 pharmaceutical company who is seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing/ Category Manager to join. 

Location: Office based offering home working flexibility

Length: Initial 6-month contract with potential to extend or become permanent 

This is a senior level role within the organisation where the candidate must have previous experience within a similar position and be capable of working independently at a global level. 

Responsibilities: 

• Responsibility of cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies 
• Manage the identification and selection of suppliers 
• Negotiating commercial terms at project level contracts 
• Budget responsibilities 

Requirements: 

• Previous category management experience within the pharmaceutical industry 
• Global/ above country experience 
• Strong business acumen and negotiating experience 
• Previous sourcing experience
