Overview of the role :
As a UK CW Health Economics Manager (Modeling) - Mature & Late Phase Oncology you will be leading model development and adaptations, have responsibility for project management and support to a team of junior economic modelers.
The jobholder will :
*Develop the economic sections of HTA pricing and reimbursement submissions.
*Collaborate with local, regional and global cross-functional teams
Responsibilities (Include but not limited to) :
*Provide input to design and interpret evidence generation studies
*Interpret the results from clinical studies and plan additional statistical analyses needed for core models and local model adaptations, including indirect treatment comparisons
*Present, Discuss and re-analyse model results
*Support timely and effective communication to HTA and reimbursement authorities
*Lead and support publications of core global and local economic models
Requirements :
*Doctorate Degree and 2 years of health economics and outcomes research experience OR Master's Degree and 6 years of health economics and outcomes research experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of health economics and outcomes research experience
*MSc in Health Economics with a background in either economics or a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology or engineering) would be preferred
*3+ years of experience in global health economics and outcomes research including US dossier submissions for coverage and reimbursement.
*3+ years of experience developing pharmacoeconomic models.
*Previous experience in Oncology is preferred
*Strong programming skills, including Excel along with hands on experience of Markov modeling is essential
*Demonstrable skills in project management
*Fluency in English with strong communication and analytical skills is essential
*Experience working with budget impact models is preferred
*Experience using Visual Basic, TreeAge Pro, R, Stata, SAS, WinBUGS and other software for statistical analyses along with previous experience in a similar role would be preferred
