Medical Affairs Manager

France

For our client, a world leader in healthcare, we are looking for a Pharmacist to join their consumer department. This person will be in charge of the management of medical affairs, work with the medical representative(s), be a partner for the Marketing Department and provide medical support for specified products.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical and scientific support, related to the external communication and active participation within the medical team
• Validation of medical and scientific contents of promotional material
• Review of scientific publications
• Identifying and maintaining the relationship with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL)
• Creation and participation in scientific boards, symposia and scientific congresses in line with the medical plan.
• Representation of the affiliate and its medical strategies and implementation plans to the medical teams
• Ensures compliance with current regulations: D.M.O.S (French anti-benefits regulations), safety regulations and all other rules and regulations
• Medical and scientific training set-up, coordination and distribution for the team in charge of product promotion
• Management, preparation and validation of FAQs for medical information
• Organisation of the management of the medical questions in accordance with the customer service
• Management of the calls outside the working hours

Compliance

• To verify conformity of the activities in relation to the health care professionals
• Participation to the preparation and follow-up of internal audits and inspections

Profile

• Advanced life science degree (Medical Degree or Pharmacist preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer industry
• Medical experience/knowledge required in a large field of drug and cosmetics
• General knowledge of the legislation
• Ability to connect with KOLs
• Business oriented
• Excellent communication skills in French and English
