To strengthen our UK Market Access Group, we are looking to fill the position of: HTA Group Manager.  

About the Role
You will work in PV Ops for Market Access on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) activities focusing on managing and developing ‘the Hub of HTA Excellence’ to support UCBs diverse portfolio, that is driven by world leading science, to ensure that patients can get access to our innovative medicines.

As the HTA Group Manager you will be responsible for:

Portfolio Market Access Management 
Providing Market Access strategic guidance, technical challenge and oversight on the UCB portfolio.

People Management
Building, developing and managing BII’s ‘HTA Hub of Excellence’.  

HTA External Stakeholder Development
Increasing UCB’s profile in the field of HTA and growing external partnerships and publications with HTA and academic bodies, through both team and individual activities.

About You
You should have:

  • Master’s Degree in Health Economic or equivalent.
  • Previous Health Economics experience within the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy and an understanding of economic evaluation concepts.
  • Detailed understanding of HTA and the role of health economics within the NHS and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Recent experience of developing Market Access/Pricing strategies and delivering successful HTA submissions (with NICE, SMC and HSE).
  • Expert knowledge of UK political and healthcare policy environment.
  • Previous line management experience is preferable.
