Director/Snr Director of Early/Translational Medicines for Global Immunology Franchise ** South-East ** Good flexibility around home working **

Location: South-East, with good flexibility around home working

We have a senior level Early/Translational Medicines role for a company with a really strong Immunology pipeline who are fostering the approach of Translational research as the transition from  not only  “bench to bedside” but also from "bedside to real-world practice," and trying to improving the mechanisms by which these treatments will be used to benefit people who are in need.

You will be joining a global team (based from the UK office) with an open and flexible approach for an organisation that will ask you to put your heart, soul and skills into making a difference for people living with chronic diseases.

This is a great opportunity to work for an organisation that really wants to concentrate on capturing emerging science and driving it towards addressing unmet needs, moving quickly in new directions and nimbly across disease areas, working with external experts to establish Translational Medicine study methodologies that can be applied to their Immunology clinical development programs. 

Ideally, you will be a registered medical doctor (MD or PhD post-graduate qualification) with extensive experience in clinical Immunology, Rheumatology or other relevant specialties e.g. Allergy, Dermatology with experience in early drug development either as PI/sub-PI in external clinical trials as a practicing clinician, or gained via industry roles

You will need a proven track record of successful leadership of and contribution to clinical/scientific projects and a strong academic and clinical record in relevant immunology or bone related specialty  with an aptitude for early clinical drug development

On offer is a high level package that includes a six-figure basic salary, bonus of 20%, car allowance, pension, life insurance, Bupa, dental, income protection, 26 days holiday, a lucrative share initiative/scheme worth approximately £30,000 a year and great flexibility around working from home.
