Key Account Manager (Bristol/Somerset) - Cardiovascular - Pharmaceutical Company

i-Pharm Consulting are seeking on behalf of an International Pharmaceutical Company an experienced Secondary Care Key Account Manager to drive sales growth and market access of their latest Anticoagulant. This company has an excellent reputation in the market with some of the highest retention rates we have seen.

TITLE:

Key Account Manager (Permanent)

Reporting directly into Territory Manager

THE ROLE:

You will be involved in:

  • Develop a good understanding and maintain an accurate record of company's' accounts structures, decision making processes and other influencing factors pertaining to drug evaluation/assessment, authorisation and prescribing
  • To achieve market access objectives and meet sales targets
  • Plan meetings with customers with mutually beneficial outcomes for patients, their customer and the client
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Take initiative in communicating compelling health economic and clinical arguments to support the appropriate use of the client's products
  • Identify and prioritise potential growth and business development opportunities based on profitability and probability

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years experience in medical sales
  • 2+ years experience in secondary care account management
  • Cardiovascular experience is required ideally in a secondary care setting
  • Life sciences background preferred
  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with CCGs in assigned area (Bristol/Somerset)
  • Track record of success and reaching and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication skills, organisation skills and business acumen

LOCATION:

Field based - North East England (Ideal location Newcastle)

Salary:

Competitive salary + company car + bonus + benefits package
