Title: Project Manager (Pre-Clinical / Phase I)

Location: Turin, Italy

Schedule: Full-time

CROMSOURCE is looking for a Pre-Clinical Project Manager to join one of our partner companies - a small Italian biotech company, based in Turin Italy.

The Project Manager will oversee the conduct of pre-clinical toxicology studies for inflammatory diseases, including the transition from preclinical development to Phase I clinical trials.

The successful candidate will be working on studies dedicated to one client.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Liaise with and manage the CRO engaged in early-stage development (pre-clinical toxicology / Phase I).
  • Oversee Manufacturing/Production of the Compound
  • Find solutions to Regulatory issues
  • Translations of pre-clinical findings to humans
  • Support other study activities as required to ensure that the deliverables are met.


Minimum Work Experience
  • Experience in Clinical Research as a Project Manager (or similar), within the CRO or Pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Pre-clinical and Early Phase experience is required.
  • Prior experience managing CROs and/or vendors
  • Experience overseeing the manufacturing and production of a compound


Skills
  • Strong Regulatory expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal, site management, relationship building, verbal and written communication skills including excellent presentation skills.
  • Client focused approach to work
  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments, new learning and travel (overnight, weekend and international travel may be required).
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritise workload with attention to detail.
  • Value the importance of teamwork.
  • IT literate.
  • Sense of urgency in completing assigned tasks.
  • Holds a driving license.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.


Education
  • Educated to degree level (biological science, pharmacy or other health related discipline preferred) or equivalent nursing qualification/experience.


Language Skills
  • Competent in written and oral English and local language.
