Job Details

Covance is looking to hire an UNBLINDED CRA to monitor sites in the UK

This is a permanent position with Covance - home or office based (in Maidenhead)  - full time. National Travel involved.

You would be dedicated to one Sponsor (a top ten pharma company) 100% of the time - and your role would be as outlined below but essentially you would be performing UNBLINDED monitoring responsibilities within the hospital setting in the UK. The role focuses on Hospital PHARMACY monitoring within the clinical trials setting.

This is essentially a CRAI or CRAII position and would suit someone who has been through some "monitoring training" and/or who has some monitoring experience already, possibly in the NHS or academic setting - and who is now looking to embellish/broaden their monitroring skills in the commercial environment. Working within a top Global CRO and assigned 100% to a top pharma/Sponsor study/studies.

There is a realistic chance of progressing into a more typical "Blinded Monitoring" role further down the line!

The unblinded CRA is responsible for ensuring accurate pharmacy documentation is in place, investigational medicinal product (IMP) accountability is maintained and blinded and unblinded site staff members can work in a coordinated manner without compromising the blinded monitors.

The unblinded CRA will ensure that IMP supplies are maintained in suitable storage conditions and are accurately reconstituted, dispensed, administered, returned and destroyed.

key words CRA, unblinded CRA, clinical research associate, site monitor, pharmacy technician, research nurse, trial monitor, junior clinical research associate

For further detail and discussion please call Marc Joseph on 0207 602 7904 or send your CV and application to marc.joseph@covance.com
