Job Title: Safety Specialist

Location: Germany - Mettman area

Schedule: Permanent - Full time - Office based

Start: As per candidate availability

TalentSource Life Sciences, the division of CROMSOURCE dedicated to flexible staffing solutions, is currently recruiting a Safety Specialist to strengthen the Patient Safety team at one of the leading global biopharmaceutical companies. Our client is a world leader, mainly working in the fields of neurology and immunology. Working with both scientists and academics across the globe, they have a focus on new products and a strong science based approach.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Organise, prioritise, and execute multiple tasks within assigned objectives in order to aim for 100 % compliance
  • Identify gaps, perform trend analysis and implement risk mitigation strategy, with problem solving and constructive mindset
  • Apply strong interpersonal skills, especially in the area of individual leadership and adaptability
  • Collaborating with the DACH Safety Leader and German Graduated Plan Officer to maintain Pharmacovigilance systems, operations and procedures within the DACH Area in order to safeguard public health and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Working in connection within the International Pharmacovigilance organisation, the EEA QPPV and the corporate Patient Safety functions and collaborating cross functionally with key stakeholders at affiliate and corporate level


Education, Experience and Skills
  • HCP based education (such as physician, pharmacist, nurse) or any relevant graduation/experience in medical scientific area (such as PhD/master in biological sciences or related degree)
  • Knowledge of German pharmaceutical regulations and health system environment
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in Pharmacovigilance in a multinational pharmaceutical environment
  • Excellent Command in English and German knowledge
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skill
