Pricing & Market Access Consultant

Working in partnership with some of the most accomplished global Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies, our client conducts payer and KOL research to provide their clients with the insights and recommendations they need to develop the value strategy for their technologies and optimize revenues. Their portfolio of services includes: Pricing and launch strategies, Landscape assessment, Value proposition & Payer engagement strategies

This role will be focused primarily on pricing and access strategy projects, including assisting clients with the collection of stakeholder insights, the development of market access strategy and value propositions, pricing strategy and market access planning.

Key tasks and responsibilities.

• Collection of insights from payers, KOL’s and stakeholders.
• Providing high-level and innovative strategic input into product-specific market access strategies
• Gap analyses of clients’ market access strategies and proposing solutions to bridge gaps
• Conducting research into country P&R systems and recent HTA decisions to inform P&R strategy
• Creating, developing and validating value and pricing frameworks
• Monitoring policy trends shaping the market access environment
• Translating research and evidence into insight and recommendations
• Updating valuable research and evidence onto relevant company platforms to ensure that relevant platforms are enriched with the most up to date and relevant market data.

Ideal Candidate 

• Advanced degree in a relevant healthcare subject (MSc in Market access, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Research, Health economics, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, Drug Development, Pharmaceutical Studies)
• Relevant experience in the consulting sector
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in market access
• Fluency in English (written & spoken) is required, and fluency in a second language is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Demonstration of global understanding of projects context, ability to critically review and/or contribute to the development of the project plan, and to follow instructions to achieve project objectives
• Demonstration of good internal communication and external communication within the context of project work.
• Strong experience of lead analyst and/or project manager across different project types is highly desirable
• A profound knowledge of the EU5 markets is essential to this role and further global market knowledge is highly advantageous.
