On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are currently recruiting for a Promotional Compliance Officer.

Objective

To perform promotional compliance monitoring activities for the company products according to company SOP’s and relevant governing group policies.

Duties:

Promotional compliance monitoring

  • Ensure compliance monitoring is performed on all territories and escalate noncompliance in a timely manner as per company group policies
  • Provide clinical and scientific input to the development of promotional and non-promotional materials
  • Ensure all promotional material and compliance monitoring activities adhere to company policies and processes
  • Develop expertise and scientific evaluation of assigned therapeutic areas to all local medical approvers
  • Ensure support and training is delivered to local team, where necessary
  • Support line manager in developing and maintaining the process for managing compliance monitoring process
  • Support marketing departments in providing recommendations for improvement and compliance with group policies following compliance monitoring review
  • Support line manager in developing and maintaining working relationships with commercial colleagues and with key stakeholders in company to enhance cross-functional teamwork and success.
  • Copy approval and review of educational and promotional materials through Zinc or other identified platform as per company policies and procedures; where requested
  • Work with line manager in developing and maintain working relationships with commercial colleagues and key stakeholders in company to enhance cross-functional teamwork and success.
  • Represent company at events and meetings, when requested
  • Develop expertise and scientific evaluation of assigned therapeutic areas to all local medical approvers
  • Support line manager in generating reports on activities associated with compliance monitoring activities
  • Support in maintaining risk register across all affiliate territory and report any critical risk to senior management
  • Provide medical support to the Medical information Team and other members of the medical department and other departments to support the activities of those areas

General

  • Ensure relevant records and maintained as soft copy and hard copies, if required as per company  filing structure/instruction;
  • Ensure that relevant document requested by auditor is provided in a timely manner during internal and external audits;
  • Adherence to Company Health & Safety procedures;
  • Participate in training programmes;

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Post Graduate degree in science, pharmacy or medicine;
  • Facilitator training will be an advantage;
  • Working with remote team is considered as an advantage;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Medical Information unit;
  • Effective use of appropriate IT systems and programs.
