Medical Lead

I'm currently collaborating with a top 10 pharmaceutical company, they are looking for an individual who specializes in medical affairs, with extensive Oncology experience, specifically breast cancer, to join their medical affairs team. This position requires someone who is a strategic thinker and is looking for a challenge. Read the responsibilities below if you think this could be you or someone you know!

Responsibilities:

·Lead the medical input into business strategy

·Focus indication will be Breast Cancer and Ovarian, but this person should have good knowledge of Oncology widely

·Reporting into the Head of Medical Affairs Oncology

·Matrix managing a team of MSL’s and direct reports which will beMedical Affairs Manager – Breast/Ovarian

·Strategic input into global strategy, help implement the strategy (they will support you if you do not feel confident)

·Work with the global team

·Help and advise through the period of merge with MSD

Requirements:

·Medical Doctor (GMC) or Pharmacist (GPhC)

·Pharmaceutical industry experience

·Medical Affairs experience

·Oncology experience

·Experience/Knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice

·Strategic thinker, ability to lead
