Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Quality Advisor to join a world-leading research institute on a permanent basis in Surrey. Our client focuses on understanding, predicting and responding to viral disease outbreaks. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, improve and administer the Management System.
  • Monitor progress of quality plans, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Support other business areas with process reviews and implementation.
  • Complete investigations ensuring effective root cause analysis is performed.
  • Deliver support to teams in preparing for external assessments, customer visits, and preparing responses.
  • Perform trend analysis and monitor performance indicators. Prepare and collate information for management reviews.
  • Deliver quality training to staff.
  • Conduct audits, as annual plan, to different international standards and regulations.
  • Maintain and update the suppliers’ database ensuring it is kept up to date and suppliers’ performance is assessed.
  • Assist with management and enhancement of specialist software packages. Troubleshoot as required and liaise with software suppliers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement with the aim to enhance productivity, profitability and customer service.
  • Represent for other team members during absence periods.
  • Share best practice across the organisation and be promoter of change.
  • Promote and practice a cross divisional/cross discipline working ethos.
  • Uphold a safe and productive working environment.

  • Ability to perform effective root cause analysis, formulate and apply simple yet robust corrective actions.

Requirements: 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • In-depth working knowledge ISO/ IEC 17025.
  • Experience working experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Proven experience of practical skill and successful track record as an internal auditor to ISO/IEC 17025.
  • Experience on completing validation of new methods to the requirements of ISO/ IEC 17025.
