Job Details

On behalf of my client, a global pharmaceutical company based in Munster, I am currently seeking a Senior Packaging Operator to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture / pack product to cGMP / regulatory standards as outlined in company documentation
  • Accurate completion of all necessary documentation
  • Carry out IPC checks as outlined in company documentation
  • Ensure machines / equipment are maintained and working correctly
  • Carry out minor machine / equipment adjustments as appropriate
  • Clean machines / work area in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Developing and leading the training program with line operators
  • Attainment of targets relevant to work centers and packing metrics. 
  • Ensure compliance to documented procedures and cGMP requirements as outlined in company procedures
  • Maintenance of hygiene / housekeeping standards in the packing area
  • Comply to terms and conditions as outlined in your contract of employment accurately and that necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Ensure that all job closing activities are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Active in driving lean ways of working. Achieving excellence together.
  • Managing the serialisation function of the packaging line.
  • Lead line change overs and manage change parts sets
  • Implement Value engineering initiatives.
  • Generate standard operating procedures relevant to the packing processes.   

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Knowledge of SAP and Serialisation processes.
  • The role requires a strong understanding lean principles and execution. (A3 problem solving, DMAIC for example)
  • Knowledge of safety related issues including compliance with regulations.
  • The candidate will have, as a minimum, 5 years’ experience within a pharmaceutical role.
  • Candidate will have experience in training of and leading of a packing team.
