Business Development Manager (Medical Devices)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + OTE

Location: North West Territories, predominately Manchester.

An exciting Medical Device Company are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis to cover the North West of the UK

The company are an established leader in their field and so the Business Development Manager role would ideally suit an experienced Business Development professional who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Business Development Manager - Role and Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration identify and research accounts, to develop a strategic approach to that account in a timely manner to ensure the best opportunity of a successful tender outcome
  • Plan approaches and pitches
  • Identify and access key senior market opinion leaders to develop the infusion agenda in line with the marketing strategy;
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends;
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

Business Development Manager - Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in selling infusion therapy/devices
  • At least 5 years sales or marketing experience, gained within a healthcare environment
  • Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Evidence of senior management engagement in the NHS
  • Demonstration of managing a complex and broad stakeholder group

Salary for this position will be in the range of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
