Job Details
Hobson Prior are looking for an Associate Scientist – Downstream Process Sciences to join a leading biopharmaceutical company who purely concentrate on neurology and immunology. This position will be on a contract basis located in Berkshire.
Job Responsibilities:
- Undertake purification process development experiments for fundamental understanding of individual unit operations.
- Assist with the evaluation of new bioprocess technologies.
- Recognise and utilise appropriate analytical techniques.
- Effectively communicate findings to multi-disciplinary Process Development Teams.
- Demonstrate the capability to analyse data, with a meticulous eye to detail.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of various downstream processing tools.
- Some experience of chromatography and protein conjugation techniques as well as a good understanding of analytical methods for assessing product purity.
- Ideally previous experience in the Biopharmaceutical Industry.
