Mechanical Design Engineer

Freelance Contract | 6 months+ | UK, South | #140840

James Carrera at Umbilical Life is sourcing an experienced & innovative Mechanical Design Engineer for a leading Medical Technology company, to help improve patient outcomes..

Accountabilities:

  • Provide appropriate design solutions for specialist devices, including associated instrumentation .
  • Internal and External stakeholder management
  • Provide CAD models for a variety of implants through to manufacture and inspection

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level you will have 2 years+ experience in a similar role, as well as;

  • Excellent 3D CAD modelling and drafting
  • Parametric modelling, engineering tolerances. GD&T
  • Excellent human anatomy, engineering and implant materials knowledge
  • Siemens NX
