Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Medical Science Liaison to join a newly formed field team in a growing European Medical Affairs organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a new cellular based therapeutic platform providing scientific education to healthcare providers in the transplant space. This role will be on a permanent basis covering Germany and other countries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Establishes and upholds relationships with target health care professionals.
  • Contributes in the identification and completion of clinical trials.
  • Partakes in the education of healthcare professionals and the organisations employees.
  • Participates in the identification and publication of scientific materials.
  • Supports European HQ Medical Affairs Plan beyond geographic responsibility.
  • Close collaboration with other affiliate Atara team members, specifically to support an understanding of local treatment pathways in PTLD and in support of market access activities.
  • Supports local expanded access activities.
  • Execution and placement of scientific activities (including medical education programs, IITs, etc).
  • Execution of local thought leader plans.
  • Implementation of MSL PoA.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred or strong demonstration of equivalent combination of relevant educational and professional training.
  • Fluency in English and German, both oral and written communications.
  • Prior experience with clinical study management and conduct.
  • A minimum of 10 or more years of industry experience in relevant functions (MSL, sales force, clinical operations, affiliate medical department, clinical development, regulatory affairs).
  • Demonstrative therapeutic experience/research or substantive patient care experience is required (preferably in oncology/transplant/ haematology).
  • Knowledge of regulatory affairs, drug safety, legal and compliance environment.
  • Knowledge of regional specific healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care.
  • Understanding of commercialization and business practices.
  • Able to readily interpret scientific data, understand the potential impact of data on clinical approaches and research needs, and communicate scientific data to broad audiences.
