Your new company

I am running an executive search on behalf of a multi-award-winning agency who are based in London. I am now looking to speak with experienced senior account managers who might be ready for the next step in their career. My client is a very well-recognised independent agency who specialise in medical education and public relations within healthcare communications. They have won several highly regarded awards across both disciplines. You will be welcomed into a stable team of account handlers that enjoy a nice work-life balance and they often partake in bake off’s, pancake days and even fun activities when we get snow days. They are always doing something fun. Most importantly, they are passionate professionals who want to deliver innovative and creative campaigns that will make a genuine impact on the lives of patients across the globe.

Your new role

You will responsible for inspiring and nurturing the team, as well as supporting the overall business needs and current accounts. As well as this, you will be growing the business and delivering projects on time and to meet the budgets that have been set. This would be a great transition for a Senior Account Manager or an Account Director who is looking for more responsibility and strategic responsibility.

Duties include:

• Managing allocated clients across several accounts
• Preparing, running and providing appropriate follow-up for all allocated client meetings
• Monitoring client programme delivery against the agreed scope of work and cost estimate
• Yearly account planning
• Line management
• Participating in new business activity

What you will need to succeed

• A life sciences degree or equivalent
• A working history of working within a healthcare agency
• Excellent client relationship skills
• A passion for science and sharing ideas
