A global healthcare agency is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager or Account Director to join their growing company in London. Due to a sustained effort from the accounts team, this client has recently partnered with a number of high profile clients, making this an ideal time to join this company. This is a very exciting opportunity that offers a great deal of responsibility and exposure, both internally and externally. You should possess exceptional account handling capabilities and be someone who is keen to drive performance. My client will offer you a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, with each day offering you variety and opportunities to learn. You will report into the managing director and be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery on brand objectives across Europe and business growth on a whole.

Therapy areas include:

Oncology, Nutrition, Cardio, Fertility, Respiratory, Haematology.

What you need to succeed:

• Strong healthcare agency experience at a senior account handling level.
• Ability to lead high profile accounts, client-facing.
• Manage all financial aspects of the account and ensure profitability.
• Contribute to business development through the growth of the existing account and new business prospects.
• Manage a team, including appraisals, recruitment and coaching and training.
• Ensure quality, accuracy and adherence to client strategy of internal briefs to creative and studio teams.
• Ensure account profitability.
• Prepare and review account forecasts providing accurate phasing of budgets.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need strong agency experience at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level within healthcare communications. You will be managing large, global accounts within the field of Pharmaceuticals.
