Associate Principal QA Adviser

A leading API manufacturer based out of the UK are currently seeking to expand their team with the introduction of a brand-new Associate Principal Quality Assurance Advisor based in Hertfordshire.

This company has a fantastic reputation for their Quality Assurance department.  A group of 4 dedicated professionals from a pharmaceutical development background who all have sterling reputations in the industry.  As part of a new expansion project, they are looking to grow this team to 5 and they are looking to do this with a 12-month fixed term contract (FTC) which will eventually expand into a permanent role after the 12 month period (dependant on candidate performance).

So, what does the role entail? Your role will include things such as:

• SOP Management
• Some Internal Auditing
• Vendor Management
• Technical Agreements
• Change controls or Deviations
• Batch review

There are also a number of approaching quality projects to get your teeth stuck into, with your pick of which ones you want to work on. 

This opportunity is fantastic for someone who is self-assured and very capable as there will be some involvement in meeting clients and speaking with them regarding batch documentation, as well as speaking with very highly qualified professionals to educate them on why the QA department does certain things a certain way.

As this is a very “personality” focussed company, they are focussed on finding the perfect individual above all else (passionate, hardworking, self-respecting, ethical etc) but they also need the candidate to have some industry experience.  This includes:

• 3 Years Quality Assurance experience (preferably in pharmaceuticals)
• A BSc degree or higher in Chemistry (or a relevant scientific qualification)
• Strong QA experience in Quality Systems
• Ideally GMP experience and exposure
