Novartis in the UK is seeking to transform how we use digital channels to engage with our healthcare stakeholders and the Multi-Channel Lead has a key role in making this happen.

We announced we will have a new HQ in London; a new state-of-the-art office at The Westworks, in White City. Four business divisions (pharmaceuticals, oncology, Global Drug Development and Novartis Business Services) will be able to come together in one purpose-designed environment. The site will be ready for us by the end of Q4 2019.

Your responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the development and deployment through Cross Functional Teams of integrated Multi-Channel strategies and tactics that deliver an excellent customer experience, competitive advantage and contribute to the delivery of the UK pharma organisation's business objectives.
• Represent Novartis Pharma UK in discussions with global and regional teams on multi-channel projects and strategies
• Influence global multi-channel projects to meet local Country needs
• Lead embedding of agreed new multi-channel projects in the UK organisation
• Play a leading role in the brand strategic planning and operation plan development to ensure optimal utilisation of all channels
• Ensure agencies working on multi-channel projects perform to a high quality, deliver on time, within budget and are fully compliant with ABPI Code and other digital regulations
• Lead coordination of multi-channel projects with other functions e.g. medical, compliance, IT, legal, procurement, Product Lifecycle Services, Communications
• Accountable for agreed pharma multi-channel projects being delivered on time, quality and cost
• Ensure consistent and accurate analytics reporting for Launch Pad use and customer interactions in digital channels
• Lead multi-channel capability building in the UK pharma
• Ensure that multi-channel best practice from inside and outside Novartis is brought into and communicated in the business
• Management and development of multi-channel Managers
• Be an active member and make a strong business contribution to the wider Commercial Execution team

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in business, marketing or I.T. or
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in a science subject with a strong interest in multi-channel marketing
• C.I.M or I.D.M qualification English
• 10 years' experience in marketing, business, IT or multi-channel in a pharma or healthcare organisation or agency
• Can demonstrate strong customer focus
• Has delivered business results across a matrix, decentralised organisation
• Can demonstrate achieving results through others
• Can demonstrate strong strategic thinking
• Has ability to apply "marketing in a multi-channel world" thinking to a pharma company
• Knows how the Code of Practice applies to the use of digital channels and other relevant regulation
• Has experience of delivering accurate multi-channel data to marketing and senior leadership with recommendations to drive performance
• Can demonstrate success in leading projects using agile methodology and "test and learn" approach
