It is an exciting time to join Synexus and the Accelerated Enrolment Solution (AES) division as the business plans to grow substantially in the coming 3-5 years, taking market share by growing organically and identifying potential new territories, partners and services.

Due to an increase in workload we are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager, reporting to the Senior Manager, Contracts & Legal, to play a significant role in ensuring the best commercial contracts are secured, with associated risks appropriately mitigated, through provision of effective and organised legal support for Head Office, Global Feasibility, Global Project Management and International operational site teams.

Based at the iconic Sky Tower, Wroclaw, this role offers a challenging, collaborative environment that will enable this individual to work closely with internal & external customers to provide an outstanding, best in class service.

Role Responsibility

Key roles and responsibilities for the Contracts Manager are -
  • Accountable for the drafting, review, amendment and execution of Client and Head Office Sponsor Agreements within target timelines.
  • Identify commercial risks and address them within global contracts.
  • Conduct effective legal negotiations on behalf of the business.
  • Provide legal assistance, support and coaching to Global Projects Team, Business Development, International Sites and the business as required.
  • Develop and improve contracts systems, processes and tools to deliver increased efficiency or other benefits to the business.
  • Liaise with Project Leads, Sites and suppliers to gather vendor information for vendor contracts.
  • Monitoring and upkeep of vendor agreements throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  • Ensure all commercial databases are kept up-to-date and used weekly/monthly to highlight to relevant project lead of upcoming expiry.
  • Conduct effective negotiations of vendor contracts mitigating risk and aligning with business requirements or prime client contract (as appropriate).
  • Support and implement company compliance and adherence with all Data Protection laws and regulations (,anti-bribery and related Standard Operating Procedures and policies.

Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need the following skills & experience -
  • Contracts and legal experience of drafting complex, high value contracts in a regulated relevant industry. Ideally this will be within a Pharma, Biotech, Life Sciences, CRO or SMO space
  • Confident negotiator with experience communicating with all levels of an organisation, internally as well as externally
  • Practical legal research skills paired with an attention for detail
  • Proven ability to deliver volume of work within high pressure environment
  • Ability to present ideas and explanations in a clear manner and language
  • Ability to prioritise, execute and track multiple tasks and responsibilities to meet varying deadlines
  • Self-motivated and accountability to drive projects through to completion
  • Flexible, hard-working, proactive approach with a positive attitude to overcoming challenges
  • Positive attitude and sense of urgency
