Job Summary

We are seeking aClinical Account Manager to join our team!

This is a remote with position with travel.

The Clinical Account Manager (CAM) supports the delivery of site objectives, growth and randomization targets in compliance with regulatory requirements and Patient Service Standards by contributing to the recruitment of patients at the site. The CAM is responsible for accessing patients suitable for clinical studies through actively networking community-wide, reaching out to Medical Practices and Hospital networks, cultivating relationships with medical professional, increasing their awareness about the benefits of research and the value proposition of Synexus to them and their patients and ensuring referrals to Synexus as well as a collaborative operations.

Role Responsibility

  • Build strong Network of medical partners and health care professionals that will increase awareness of AES / Synexus and clinical trials
  • Influence and motivate targeted physicians groups to help with study recruitment through effective relationship development and working through the Physician Outreach (PO) Process Steps
  • Increase site delivery by contributing to overall randomization targets and working towards quarterly patient recruitment goals
  • Cultivate and maintain respectable relationships within the community that will enhance our community's outlook about clinical trials.
  • Identify and present opportunities that can result in expansion of the GP / Hospital network resulting in profitable growth
  • Locate, schedule and attend various events for networking opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of all current and planned enrolment studies and the timelines in order to have targeted conversations.
  • Increase the size of the database of medical professionals annually while striving to reach targeted randomization. Actively contributes to initiatives, strategies and activities allowing maximizing patient recruitment
  • Liaise with, and actively involved in meetings with Site to discuss studies, recruitment needs and to clarify and share and fulfil recruitment strategies, initiatives, processes and tools as well as clarifying the timelines
  • Use business communication tools and/or social media for professional company postings, private messages and professional posts/comments to reach target market
  • If applicable, manage a monthly general budget that is utilized for developing, promoting and relationship building
  • Assist in securing additional funding for activities as necessary should an opportunity present itself
  • Must maintain and deliver timely reports that reflect efforts of all networking activities, including successes, failures, sharing knowledge and best practices of outreaches and events
  • Maintain a calendar of future planned activities for execution and diary of medical practitioner to visit.
  • 40% travel
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience that provide the ability to perform the job, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Previous experience as a medical representative, calling on medical industry is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of medical network opportunities
  • Knowledge of clinical trial process and clinical operations, including proven knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines and local regulations
  • Open to U.S. travel as needed (40%)
  • Proficiency in using MS Office programs and web applications and active member on business social media
  • Must develop thorough knowledge of particular medical trial protocols, procedures, etc.
  • Must be reliable and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated time management skills and ability to adhere to project productivity metrics and time lines.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive or demanding issues; firmly adhering to the principles of the regulations and guidelines.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and planning skills
