I am currently partnering with a rapidly expanding Biological CDMO group based in Switzerland as they continue to grow the brand through acquiring and extending their International client base. Currently my client has a multitude of creative projects ahead and we are now looking to support the on-going talent attraction efforts with support identifying a ‘Director DSP Process Development’.

Responsibilities

·Team Leadership of the Downstream group for Process Development which includes recruitment, development and on-going management

·Create innovative DSP solutions for a variety of Products and platforms across a range of clients

·Support and influence budgetary efforts on a periodic basis

·Actively support any technical issues the team have and provide advise and solutions as and when needed

·Engage in troubleshooting activities and create adequate and creative solutions

·Key representative of the DSP group in client and internal meetings

·Support Commercial activities from a technical perspective

·Actively lead and participate in internal projects to overall improve DSP development strategies

·Overall leadership of both the DSP team and DSP project activities

Skills required

·Must be educated to a Master or PhD within a Biological discipline (Biochemistry, Biology or Biotechnology)

·Can demonstrate at least 6 years industry experience in DSP process Development for Biopharmaceuticals

·Ideally you have 10 years or more working in Biopharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical industry (CDMO experience is also sufficient)

·Ideally skilled in team leadership

·Ideally you can demonstrate career experience with such aspects as Purification Systems; Product Validation; Process characterization etc.

·Fluent in English

·Can work 100% office based in the Basel region
