Job Details
My client is one of Europe’s leading CDMOs who provide high-quality, customized drug development solutions for specialty and biopharma clients, and to support their ambitious growth plans for small batch formulation and manufacturing my client are seeking to bring on aboard a Business Development Manager non-sterile services.
This role will report into the VP Business Development and Strategy and will involve working closely with their Technical Business Manager team (sterile, clinical supply, analytics), the Head of French operations and Senior European BD team to achieve the assigned objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Enlarging client portfolio through active prospection mainly in France and surrounding French speaking countries
- Establishing a precise commercial roadmap tailor-made to companies targeted
- Representing the CDMO division in relevant conference, work-shop and tradeshow upon management decision
- Benchmarking our offering versus identified competitors or new comers (whenever possible)
Education and Experience:
- Graduated from a scientific degree (Chemical engineer, Bsc, Msc, PhD)
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in selling full package services from formulation to packaging including analytical support and manufacturing for small or large molecules
- Good communicator, dynamic, strong business acumen with an understanding of the requirement of the molecule development supply chain
- Willing to travel intensively (50% of your time)
- Fluent in French and English, another language would be a plus
