Description:

Overview:
* This role is to support the execution of the process monitoring program and associated projects at Amgen Dun Laoghaire. This includes:
o Delivering reports to support annual product reviews
o Generating analysis to support routine process monitoring program reviews
o Supporting investigations related to trends on processing monitoring parameters
o Supporting corporate projects to automate analysis
* The role is for someone with 2 - 3 years' industry experience who is enthusiastic and task driven with an aptitude for data analytics and report writing
* The position will report to Process Development Principle Engineer and is located in Amgen Dun Laoghaire

Key Responsibilities will include:
* Generate analyses and reports to support annual product reviews
o Compile data and perform manual analysis where reporting is not automated
o Write summary reports and complete associated workflows (import, route for review, incorporate comments, route for approval, etc.)
* Create and advance investigation workflows associated with process monitoring trends, including preliminary documentation, reviews with process leads and driving investigations to closure in a timely manner
* Support process monitoring projects and process development analytics projects including:
o Updating existing monitoring plans and forms

Basic Qualifications:
* Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in the field of science, engineering, data analytics or computing/information systems
* Experience in data extraction, statistical analysis and reporting preferably within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience using software applications such as Spotfire, JMP, Minitab, and PI to extract and analyze data
* Basic knowledge of databases, query language syntax and data structure
* Experience using documentation and investigation systems (example: Document management systems, Trackwise, etc.)
* Knowledge of biotechnology manufacturing process and GMP fundamentals
* Proven skills in building and maintaining productive relationships with organizational partners such process development, manufacturing, quality locally and within the network
* Ability to prioritize tasks, plan work and execute to deadlines
