PPD is looking to expand it's clinical development department in France by hiring a Clinical Research Associate (Level II). This position can be office based in Ivry Sur-Seine or home based in certain locations in France.

As a Clinical Research Associate II (CRA II) you will perform and coordinate all aspects related to clinical monitoring and site management in accordance with ICH Good Clinical Practices, FDA guidelines, local regulations and PPD Standard Operating Procedures. You will be working on behalf of multiple sponsors across a variety of therapeutic areas and phases and will be supported from an administrative point of view by PPD Remote Site Monitors and Project Assistants.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting all types of site visits to assess protocol and regulatory compliance and manage required documentation
  • Ensuring that data will pass international quality assurance audits.
  • Developing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with investigational sites across France.
  • Representing PPD in the global medical research community.
  • Traveling frequently across France, approx 8 visits per month.


Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in a science related field Previous experience as a CRA that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (min 2 years) Previous experience working for a global CRO is preferred
    Valid Driver's License where applicable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Proven clinical monitoring skills Demonstrated understanding of medical/therapeutic area knowledge and medical terminology Demonstrated ability to attain and maintain a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and applicable Standard Operating Procedures Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with medical personnel Customer focus Good organizational and time management skills Effective interpersonal skills Proven flexibility and adaptability
