Business Development Director

I am partnered with an award winning, global organisation, who are committed to developing life changing medicine, my client is a mid-size CRO, are looking for a driven individual to develop new business opportunities as well as growing existing accounts. This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of a successful team in a dynamic company with plans for further growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build compelling solutions and operational strategies that address client needs.
  • Plan and attend major industrial events and tradeshows
  • Understand the proposal process and provide positive input
  • Develop account strategies and expand through accounts
  • Prospect accounts focusing on products and services
  • May include mentoring/managing more junior members of the team

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent organisation skills; ability to prioritize, delegate and evaluate work
  • Strong and, and effective presentation skills; ability to convincingly present features and benefits of service to clients

Highly preferred capabilities:

  • Knowledge in the drug development process preferably gained within a CRO

This is a home based role; you will be based in Boston and a willingness to travel is essential.

This role comes with an exciting salary and benefits package.
