Job Details
This new and exciting role exists within a Global Healthcare Company. You would be employed permanently by Covance and seconded to the Healthcare Company.
The position is home based in UK, France, Spain, Germany, Russia, Poland, Ukraine and Italy and will involve some travel to sites within these countires pretty regularly.
Job Title is:- Site Study Liaison / Site Concierge
The role is to "support critical clinical development programs"
The primary purpose of the successful candidate would be site engagement. Within the EMEA region you will be positioned to face our Client's customers and drive recruitment.
Home based you would be assigned to critical studies with a clear remit of engaging customers with tasks including:
PI focused site visits – to communicate key study messages and address barriers to recruitment.
Site symposia to raise awareness of clinical studies within research teams / across departments (i.e. bringing together GI and Endo physicians for a key program).
Country level meetings: bringing together PIs for scientific meetings to connect PIs / Site coordinators in the relevant country and forcing some country level accountability. This activity will need to be coordinated / led by internal Clinical Development colleagues.
Representation at national / international congress – to ensure Drug Development Operations has a presence with peri- commercial colleagues.
Ideally you would be MD / PhD / PharmD educated with a clinical development background and high levels of scientific acumen that will be able to communicate key messages and drive focus to our client's critical clinical studies.
Ideally we are looking for someone with attributes that would lend themselves to a site facing role where you will be able to connect with physicians at site and engage in a credible scientific discussion, collaborative but able to confront constructively.
The ideal candidate will hold sufficient clinical research experience to understand issues easily and support resolution to roadblocks to recruitment.
We need energetic and engaging individuals that will drive solutions and be able to work within the cross functional team get things done.
Suggested background would be MSL and/or senior CRA
Ideally at Manager / Senior Manger levels - but we would be open to both more junior candidates with appropriate experience and soft skills.
The perfect candidate will have a background in GI research. Ophthalmology and Psychiatry are other key therapeutic areas.
