INTRO:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pharmacovigilance Project Manager to a join a medium sized growing CRO in Berkshire. Just this year along the team has doubled in size due to an increase in workload from the top pharmaceutical clients. The ideal candidate will be working closely with the PV Director/QPPV undergoing QPPV responsibilities, project managing and overseeing the current team. There is no better time to join this company!

Responsibilities include:

* Project Management- compliance with client agreement and local and global regulatory guidelines
* Quality Management and Compliance management
* Responsible for the Invoicing and budgeting: Initiating and processing change orders, generating and reviewing proposals and costing
* Overseeing the Pharmacovigilance team, training and mentoring staff, ensuring PV processes and tasks are running smoothly
* Representing the PV department during for cause/maintenance client audits or regulatory authority inspections
* Undertaking QPPV related tasks
* Constant monitoring of tasks and workload and informing the PV Director of any issues or problems
* Generating and reviewing departmental SOPs and working procedures.

To be considered you must have the following:

* Degree in life sciences
* Proven track record in Pharmacovigilance working in industry (pharmaceutical or CRO)
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Previous experience writing SMPs
* Project management experience
* Experienced user of safety databases- Argus or Aris G
* Experience with budgets and invoices
* Good amount of Clinical PV experience
* Ability to work well and build rapport with clients
