ROLE DESCRIPTION

You will have a high level of knowledge of commonly applied statistical techniques, and also advanced methodologies, and be able to provide support and guidance to junior colleagues. You will have a good knowledge of CDISC standards, and a history of successful delivery of the statistical contribution to clinical trials. You will have worked on clinical trials in a CRO or pharmaceutical company environment. Previous experience as a Principal Statistician in a clinical trial setting is desirable.

You must possess strong leadership and organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively with other Heads of Departments within the company. You will have the ability to explain technical statistical issues to colleagues from other departments and will be the first point of contact for your team and clients on all statistical matters. You can communicate effectively across different countries and cultures and have very strong planning and time management skills.

You will be responsible for representing the Statistics Group at bid defence meetings with potential clients, and also for defining and delivering on the agreed budget for the Statistics Group. You will provide statistical input to client interactions with regulatory agencies, including the FDA and EMA.

Previous experience in all these areas is desirable.

Experience across a wide range of therapeutic areas would be beneficial. You will enjoy working

independently in a leadership role and will have ultimate responsibility for ensuring that the Statistics

Group meet project milestones and deadlines.

You are goal-driven and team-driven and utilise your high level of statistical knowledge to support the

Statistics Group in the delivery of trial protocols, SAPs, CDISC compliant datasets, tables, figures and listings and CSRs, to regulatory submission standards.

You will be required to travel occasionally, as required, to bid defence and client meetings in other countries.
