Job Details
On behalf of my client, an API Pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, I am recruiting for an EHS Specialist. This is a permanent role with a great company offering an excellent remuneration package. In is role you will report to the Plant Director and you will be responsible for maintenance of the EHS function within the company to ensure HCI is a safe place for employees to work and is a compliant company with respect to all EHS regulations, operating permits and externally accredited management systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring of the waste water treatment facility, driving the waste management programmes, and other relevant projects and duties as may arise from time to time.
Candidates with the following background and experience are invited to apply:
• 3rd level qualification in Health & Safety and/or Environmental Science
• A minimum of 5 years’ industrial experience, preferably within an API manufacturing environment
• Proven capabilities in all relevant EHS regulations, site environmental and safety management systems
• First-hand experience of HSA and EPA audits
