Job Details
On behalf of our client, a global pharmaceutical company, we are currently recruiting for a Global Quality Projects Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the qualification and validation QA portfolio of projects and tasks.
The position will be based in Dublin but you will also have direct reports in Ireland, Cork & France. This position requires up to 30% travel annually – between Cork and France.
The successful person will develop, maintain and continuously improve the qualification and validation QA work locally and globally and be part of a global team.
The Successful candidate will:
• Be accountable for allocation of quality support within qualification and validation QA.
• Be accountable for the management of qualification and validation QA in Ireland (Cork & Dublin) and France (Vernouillet).
• Responsible for execution of all Global Quality projects assigned to Ireland and France and supports
The primary tasks of the role include:
• Contributing to the development and ensuring adherence to operational policies and procedures.
• Complying with company policies and procedures as well regulations.
• Providing direction and guidance to subordinates to achieve local, global and project goals.
• Ensuring that the department has the highest possible competency level in regards to qualification and validation QA.
• Managing local budgets & goals annually.
• Be responsible for all people management activities including training and development, coaching and performing performance and pay reviews.
• Investigating any issues that may arise and solve efficiently and efficiently.
• Leading and participating in continuous improvement and area improvement initiatives.
• Quality responsible for the sites Site Validation Master Plan.
• This position holds global responsibilities working with France and Denmark.
• Execute qualification and validation QA activities on selected projects and tasks.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical production processes and GMP.
• MSc in Engineering, pharmacy or similar.
• Qualification and Validation QA experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 5 years experience and documented experience as QA for major projects.
• Ability to manage stakeholders.
• Management and leadership skills – minimum 2 years experience as lead QA, Project Manager or Manager.
• Change management skills with documented experiences to prove.
• Role model for Continuous Improvement.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
