Medical Lead Chronic/Acute Pain (m/f/d)

Have a look at the fulfilling work on offer:

  • Responsible for establishing the Chronic/Acute pain KOL network
  • Leads clinical input and drive clinical insight in pipeline products and any Chronic/Acute pain projects. Responsible for input in clinical trials, data generation, LCM, publication strategy, input in regulatory dossier and interactions with internal and external stakeholders on Chronic/Acute pain unmet needs and clinical pathway
  • Guides & leads scientific discussion about new molecules in Chronic/Acute pain, incl. further study program and LCM initiatives aimed at enhancing outcomes e.g. identify patient profiles with highest benefit from intervention/treatment
  • Develops scientific/medical story flow around launch molecules/products in Chronic/Acute pain– held accountable for scientific messaging accuracy and dissemination across stakeholders in line with patient journey, unmet needs and GRT strategy
  • Owns post-launch trials strategy to extend the label (together with R&D)
  • Leads design and roll-out of post launch trial strategy to substantiate therapeutic relevance of the product – incl. corporate sponsored trials (phase III3b, IV) and support of Investigator Initiative Trials (IITs, NITs), HEOR and RWE initiatives in Chronic/Acute Pain
  • Ensures compliance and MSL communication plans
  • Maintains global key opinion-leader relationship incl. coordination of a KOL development network in Chronic/Acute in EU and LATAM


Let your talent flourish:

  • Ideally M.D. by training, with clinical experience in Chronic/Acute pain
  • Medical Affairs and network building experience; ideally additional experience in country-level medical affairs
  • Preferably experience in managing various stakeholders in the ecosystem of healthcare
  • Excellent understanding of EU and LATAM ecosystem of healthcare and its stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of clinical practice, guidelines and existing standards in Chronic/Acute pain
  • Preferably knowledgeable about biological pathways of disease and available therapies
  • Experience in launch preparation and management as well as in life cycle management
  • Fluency in Business English, additional language beneficial
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable compliance, legal & regulatory requirements
