Job purpose:

To assist Patient Access teams (or other when relevant) on execution of market access, patient access, government affairs strategies that demonstrates the value of Novartis brands. To lead key Patient Access projects and at the same time, provide strong technical contribution to enhance quality of deliverables
Key Responsibilities :

• Drive Patient Access/ Government affairs plan to deliver evidence required globally, regionally or and at country level to support therapeutic value proposition and reimbursement decision
• Provide strategic input into Global, Regional and Local Patient Access programs and product's lifecycle for optimal market access and maintenance of access
• Proactively assess opportunities to strengthen Patient Access/Government Affairs value package for programs and brands throughout the lifecycle
• Develop innovative ways to position and support products from a Patient Access perspective -makers.
• Liaise across functions on market access, pricing & reimbursement to provide strategic input across the product lifecycle in order to optimize product utilization.
• Leverage internal partner functions (e.g., Econ Modeling, Pricing, Analytics and Evidence review teams) to optimize Development of timely evidence.
• Lead Patient Access on cross-functional teams including: International Project Teams, International Clinical Teams, Brand Teams,
• Drive and/or support business development project in collaboration with the Patient Access Head
• Lead or support Patient Access Landscape deliverables and Policy projects.
• Drive Patient Access Strategic project, including the running of workshops at the Global, Regional and Local level

Minimum requirements


• Undergraduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline, plus a Graduate degree (Masters or Doctorate) in a relevant Patient Access field such as business, health economics, epidemiology, health ser
• English fluent
• At least 3 years as a Patient manager or equivalent with proven track record
• Technical knowledge and training in Patient Access deliverables
• Experience working with Market Access, pricing, HEOR or clinical research consultants, KOLs, and/or contractors
• Awareness of operational processes required for initiating research projects in the pharma industry
• Prior work experience that demonstrates a track record of operational excellence Highly organized with effective communication skills
• Project planning and tracking experience
