Senior CMO Manager

Job Summary

Vectura has an excellent opportunity for an expert in Pharmaceutical or Medical device Manufacturing and Production to utilise their skills as part of our team that transforms the lives of airways disease patients.

Working within Vectura’s Manufacturing and Production Team you will have responsibility for managing and positively influencing Vectura’s CMOs and other critical suppliers to facilitate delivery of high quality, reliable, cost effective products to Vectura’s customers.

Reporting to the Director – Manufacturing, you will be the focal contact for our CMO and strategic supplier partners within Vectura and your skills will provide leadership, both operationally and strategically.  Working closely with Quality and Supply Chain colleagues, you will actively monitor CMO performance to ensure delivery of high quality, cost effective products on-time and in budget.  In addition, you will lead change projects eg.product variations, capacity changes and continuous improvement.

Requirements

To be considered of the role you will need to demonstrate a depth of experience within Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Manufacturing and Production. You will have proven stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally. Preferably you will be degree educated and have a successful track record of high level project management, including working with external CMO and supplier partners.
