HEAD OF BIOSTATISTICS

I've partnered with a Biometrics CRO who is looking to take on a new Head of Biostatistics. As core member of the management team you will not only lead to Biometrics business unit but have to opportunity to grow the department in core research areas as well as new functions. The company understands the need for flexibility in today's working environment. A rare find for positions of this level, you have the option to be fully home based or work out of the office.

ROLE FOCUS

  • Provide a new vision and direction for the business unit to contribute to core company business unit objectives.
  • Grow and develop the business unit capabilities and provide leadership to the Statistics and Programming teams
  • Build working culture that promotes the training, development and retention of existing staff members as well as attracting new talent.
  • Utilise your statistical expertise by providing expert consulting toward client's statistical needs and the development of SOPs.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Significant experience in a similar Biostatistics leadership position, ideally gained within a CRO
  • Strong understanding of technical and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Line management experience
