  • Level 2 Statistical Programmers required to work for Covance on studies in Phases II-IV
  • You will be employed by Covance and work within our FSPx department 100% dedicated to one Sponsor
  • You will be working on studies in either Cardiovascular and Metabolic disease, Oncology or Respiratory Inflammation and Autoimmunity for a top 20 biopharma
  • Home based anywhere in EMEA
  • You must have previous established experience of working as a Statistical Programmer with any of the previously mentioned therapeutic areas in either a biotech, CRO or pharma company
  • Candidates must be fluent in English language (both verbal and written)

Discover new opportunities to grow your career as a Covance FSP Statistical Programmer 2.  Covance FSP are looking to hire experienced Statistical Programmers with experience in either; Cardiovascular and Metabolic disease, Oncology, or Respiratory Inflammation and Autoimmunity gained in Phases III-IV.

Our partner has an incredibly exciting and strong pipeline in these therapeutic areas with over 60 ongoing studies in Phases III and IV.  You will be part of a team dedicated to one of these therapy areas working in Phases III and IV. You will work directly on the Sponsor’s systems working alongside the Sponsors employees and the Sponsors other vendor staff.  This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Covance as we continue to grow and expand.  This is a full-time home-based role anywhere within EMEA and you must be willing to perform all work in the Central European Time (CET).

Job Primary Functions

  • Perform data manipulation techniques and implement basic macro language to facilitate listing and table generation and verification
  • Analyze information and suggest solutions to programming and data analysis challenges
  • Efficiently produce quality results under time constraints
  • Successfully coordinate multiple priorities
  • Develop, maintain, and produce statistical programs used in creating analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures based on provided specifications (e.g., annotated CRF, derived dataset specifications, and statistical analysis plan)
  • Develop and maintain documentation of analysis dataset, table, listing, and figure verification
  • Provide support and/or coordination of well-defined programming projects or portions of programming projects
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks by actively adapting and adjusting priorities
  • Maintain awareness of project budgets

Job Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or higher in Biostatistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Previous experience working as a Statistical Programmer in a pharmaceutical or CRO setting required
  • Experience with SAS statistical software
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute in a team setting
  • Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • You must have experience in either cardiovascular and metabolic disease, oncology or respiratory inflammation and autoimmunity
