Major Responsibilities:

• Provide statistical support to preclinical/ non-clinical activities and research projects
• Ensure that scientific questions for research objectives are defined clearly and that data collection, statistical methods and analyses are optimally designed to provide statistical evidence to answer those questions in alignment with project objectives.
• Provide insight on the risk associate to decision.
• Align within the team, the statistical planning of different deliverables expected from Preclinical Research Statistics.
• Actively contributes to the continuous development of the statistical expertise and improvement of the quality the support given by Exploratory Statistics.
• Contributes to solutions for standardisation of practices within the team and at business partners level when relevant.
• Communicates complex issues in nontechnical language by using visuals, simulations and other illustrative techniques.
• Reviews and gives relevant statistical input in scientific publications, presentations, internal scientific reports and regulatory documents as required

Profile

• 3+ (with Ph.D.) to 5+ (with Master’s or equ. degree ) years experience in biostatistics or equivalent proven experience within the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical with a proven successful track record in pharmaceutical development. Previous degree in Biology/chemistry is a must.
