i-Pharm Consulting are partnered with a globally-renowned Medical Device company who are looking to strengthen their Production Division with the acquisition of multiple Protein Production Specialists at their state-of-the-art Midlands site. LOCATION

- Birmingham, UK

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyse production processes and equipment in accordance with Quality Systems guidelines

- Ensuring AKTA systems are started efficiently and compliantly

- Operate as a Senior Technician for manufacturing support throughout checking, documentation and release phases

- Troubleshooting any deviations and liaising with various Quality and Regulatory representatives

- Managing the workload of technician teams where appropriate

- Effectively managing orders including approving operations and completing stock into inventory.

- Training staff in defined procedures and ensuring competency prior to sign off.

REQUIREMENTS

- B.Sc in related scientific field

- Experience of ultrafiltration and chromatography, preferably using AKTA systems

- Experience within immunodiagnostics/medical devices desirable but not essential

- Ability to write and review SOPs

- Effective communication skills

- Ability to work alone or as part of a team
