Accountable for:

• Statistical analysis of clinical and epidemiological studies. Focussing one study design, sample sizes and definition of appropriate statistical methods.
• Application of innovative statistical methods into research projects.
• Providing statistical support and advice with cross-functional project teams and external vendors.
• Involvement in publications and submissions to relevant authorities.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

Educated to masters or PhD level in Statistics or Mathematics ideally.

• Strong experience with either R or SAS.
• At least 3 years’ experience within Biostatistics in Pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent knowledge of statistical methods including innovative and advanced methods.
• Strong communication skills to explain & present complex methodologies to non-statistical stakeholders.
• Fluent in English, German is desirable.
